Moot Court, Pre-trial preparation and participation in trial proceedings has been introduced as a practical training paper for L.L.B. students. It is one of the four practical training papers prescribed by the Bar Council of India.
Mooters should have the proper knowledge of preparation of legal documents, arguing the case, art of cross-examination etc. during the course of LL.B. degree.
Organising and conducting Moot Courts by law schools provide proper knowledge to the student community regarding their future professional life.
Drafting of plaints, written statements, idea of cross-examination and argument are the part of practical training. All this can be learnt through hard work. Student should try to learn these arts through Moot Courts in the law campus. They should also attend the chamber of lawyers to get the proper practical knowledge.
